My name means coal town. It reminds me of the color brown. It reminds me of the West. a name cowboy would seem to have. the rocky mountains in colorado. It reminds me of family  vacations out West. It reminds me of My grandparents who call me Colt because they like horses.

My name has no family importance, it's not inherited from anyone, it just was a name that my parents thought was cool and a good name for a child.

A possible reason why I got the name I have is because my dad saw the name of a NFL quarterback and liked the idea. Colt Mccoy.

This I think definitely would suit me because football is a main part of my life. I grew up playing it and it is the thing I spend the most of my time doing and thinking about. I practice 4 days a week and play on fridays. I spend all of my time in the off season getting better for the sport I love.

The  letters in Colton make the form of a train. It reminds me of the number 3. I'm not sure why. But it feels like it belongs. The name Colton is still relatively new but it still reminds me of things in the past.

.It reminds me of dark times like the industrial revolution and times that were hard like the great depression which don’t reflect my personality. not the brightest meaning

I feel I'm a bright outgoing person. I like to tell jokes and hangout with friends. I like helping people and making their days better. I help people get better in sports and school. I just overall like being a good person.

I will keep it. It's nice because there are not too many Colton’s but it's a name people know and have heard about so they are not confused when you say it. I could not possibly think of a different way to name myself.

I think my name fits me most of all because of the connections I have in my life like football and family. It fits like a worn out puzzle piece. It still fits but not fully.
