The Truth
I'm nowhere near perfect,
But I try to be so.
I've only one thing,
That I truthfully know.
I don't deserve this.
You're being too kind.
I deserve to be hurt,
Pain out of my mind.
In the past I've used pain,
As a mask, as a crutch.
But now its no more,
No more a knifes touch.
Now its a thing,
I simply have earned.
A thing I will feel,
Until I have learned.
But until then,
I'll try my best.
I'll wait for you too,
Unlike the rest.
Until that time,
Just one thing is true.
I can only say,
I really love you.
