A symbol which gave the ability to suppress the inner killer,
The good feeling you get when reading the new bestselling thriller,
Branched from peace and tranquility,
It united us, despite race or disability,
I won't deny that this "thing" played a key role,
In directing me to my end goal,
But I caught and lost it,
Unable to reclaim it like water and a faucet,
I listened to others wondering if they knew how to find it,
But they couldn't tell me, predictably like the climate,
In my last real poem I ended it with my signature quote,
"How much weight can our boats carry till it ceases to float",
If you didn't get it by now its like I'm struggling with depression,
But it's different combination of things the world keeps pressing,
As of late it seems impossible to fathom the concept of serenity,
Probably because suicidal thoughts began to merge with my identity,
But I'm done searching,
This pain I'll let continue despite how much I'm hurtin,
I'm entering my final chapter with closed curtains,
Done with everyone's crap, that I know for certain,
So next time you come to me, trying to convince me I have a purpose,
Be sure imma laugh at you, like the main event at a circus
