Stuck in a Limbo
I’m shackled in the chains of the past,
Yet I walk freely and oblivious.
Im suffocating in the lethal waters of memory,
Yet I float on the tranquil waves.
Im wandering blindly through a maze,
Unaware the walls are ever shifting.
I’m stuck in this limbo of confusion,
Searching for hope in an unknown path.
Where am I left to go, when home was with you?
If it was you I ran to, where am I meant to flee?
You’re chasing the horizon, yet you were my sun, my moon, and all my stars.
I’m suspended between a yearn to move on and being unable to let go,
But you’ve cut the rope.
And still, I hang loosely in the air,
Not flying nor falling,
Just paralyzed,
By deceptive direction and the illusion of love.
