Is this the ideal life?
Time ago, when I was still a zero
I idolized someone I found a hero
Days and days went by
And those days sure did fly
Weak, soft, dumb, and not collected
I've found someone on who I can be reflected.
Those weeks, when I've become a one
Those days when I decided "This has to be done"
In the heroes shoes, I've tried walking
But all I did was their way of talking
And so, I still stood bland
In my little land.
After that time, so long ago
Though my progress was slow
It's still going and going
That hero in me is still brewing
That I, from day one, dreamt off
With no clue, he would ever send me off.
Today I stand, as a ten in my eyes
My life turned around, and I've gotten wiser
Strong, confident, well and collected
Something I achieved that I detected
So for the time being, this is how I'll live
and see what this life has to give.
