My Sun
I wait,
Half asleep,
To watch my sunlight,
Wash all the color away,
Then slowly seep back,
As my Sun rises,
From scarlett,
To coral,
To tangerine,
.......it's so beautiful
I look down,
Upon my hand,
Seeing all in grey,
.......then slowly,
.......EVER so slowly,
The luscious colors ambush my room,
Chasing beautiful,
Never dull greys,
Into wild reds and pinks,
The orange hues play,
All across my wall,
And I'll admit,
The colors are nice,
.......but
I miss my greys
