This piece was written for an assignment in my high school advanced placement literature class. As a teenager working for money for college, and trying to build a strong resume both in academics and extracirriculars I decided to explore the emotional toll these stressors take on me. Currently I work two jobs, serve as student council president, and take all honors or advanced placement courses. Ironically, I have always had long hair so I decided to employ that part of me as the vehicle to assist in conveying my message.
