The Peaks and Valleys of the Mind

Every day the sun rises
The shine allows for the highest moments of passion,
Gasps of fresh air
Create the new feeling of standing tall.
But even on the brightest of days, the sun still sets.
The darkness takes over the peaks and brings it into the valleys,
And the shine of the day leaves and the darkness of the night overcomes.
From the darkness, the shadows and thoughts take those highs and brightness and slowly bring them down.
However, at the end of the day, the sun comes up and the darkness leaves and a fresh start is on the horizon.
