dancing flakes melt at my crescent tips
eavesdropping the winds' gossip
Christmas carols
envelopes the evening sidewalks-
muffling the stalking night's breath.
beyond the hills and ravines
erect pine trees huddled together
rebelling against the iron ax
morning icicles
overlaps the mouth of the roof,
nursing a new beginning
that cries for more attention-
hinged doors, reopened
