Mother
Mother
Me and you, you and I
always together
since I opened my eyes.
My true colors; die,
and I try to be there for you, mother
me and you, you and I.
I can lie to them
but to you, I couldn’t whenever
since I opened my eyes.
I have learned to fly
but not away from you, however
me and you, you and I.
I am always shy, but
with you I can endeavor
anyday because I opened my eyes.
I can no longer deny
we are both under a stressor
me and you, you and I
since I opened my eyes.
