The Voice of A Mask
You sneeze in me.
You wheeze in me.
You throw me on the ground,
While I protect you as you go around.
I stop the germs,
Even when you squirm like worms.
You complain and complain,
Although you know I stop the pain.
Doctors recommend me,
But you won’t even commend me.
I know it feels as if though you are near suffocation,
But you wear me to protect the rest of the population.
I know I may seem pointless,
But in the end,
You will all be joyous.
Covid will lose,
And I will finally stop hearing boos.
