my bestfriend
the person who chose to step up
to step up when my other father would not
even when we got in fights
and we may not see eye to eye
im still greatful for you all the time
you taught me how to drive the truck
and you showed me how to change my oil
you taught me what endless love from a father feels like
you wanted to be the dad i never had
the dad i deserved
i may not call you dad
even when you fill the spot
but i will always cherish you in my heart
my buddy
my best friend
the person who chose to step up
to step up and be the father i nevet got
