Tears of gasoline
Mind’s gears twist and turn
Chains hold like metal fetters
The engine of my feelings runs
With fuel and toxic letters
The meter goes over the limit
Overwhelming speed of thoughts
But I’m exhausted In just minutes
Left stranded nowhere, joyous distraught
Alone yet still with myself
What is this, a body or a machine?
Hot and heating, I’m overwhelmed
We both cried tears of gasoline
