The Joy of Nature
The birds sing high above the trees
As blooming trees dance in the breeze
Violet butterflies land softly
Against flowers in a flurry
A smile glowing brighter than a star
Spreads across my face and hides my scars
A mood so joyous and carefree
So light and free like scenery
Soaking in light from this newfound day
My soul feels light, free from this dismay
As the sun starts to falls asleep,
I bid farewell and take my leave.
Bliss, is this amazement of life
A world I can see with my eyes
That I can hear this with my ears
I’ll hold this moment very dear.
