When the old question rises

The light aura that comes with gold skies

What happens with it all, where there is no prize that is

Can you hear it, can you see it, can you feel it within?

The power you possess, where does it begin

If only you could while away the hours, while conferring with the flowers

The sacred meaning of oneself, control it before it devours.

Should you be scared, sorry, seeing no sight to be sought

Is it bad that I fraught, or is it better to not?

Blinded by mind, uncovered with glee

Searching for illusion, the remains of guarantee

But how would one do this, how does one know

The glow of the end, what will it bestow

It is more powerful than you may believe

Most unaware about its presence, existence never achieved.

To open, let go but have undying control

To open, unleash, understand the deep soul.

Being liberated with oneself the greatest gift one could ask

The task may seem demanding, but when achieved it will last

The affliction, the pain and agony of before

Will always be welcomed, with a doormat on the floor

To understand that the pain will always pay off

No matter how hard to believe, there will always be loss.

This is the first poem I have written, and I plan on to continue to explore my intrest in poetry.
