I am the Ocean and the Ocean is I
I was asked today to describe myself using context clues. So I said I was the ocean. My teacher asked me why and I laughed. I said because the half of the ocean is discroved or know and I compared it to myself those who know me. But then I said the half of the ocean is unknow like me how I feel sometimes. People may know me or the shallow parts I want them to see but they don't really know or see me for me because I am dark and mysterious with a hint of light and hope. We all know though that the ocean has storms, that it may be calm one day and harsh the next, llke me really. When I said this to my teacher I teared up a bit because that is me everyday. I see myself as someone who can make peace but also break. I am the eye of the storm some days but afterwards I am the rainbow you will see. The ocean has the ablity to take people places or help them think and find themselves. That is I. I listen like the ocean I never speak, only listen so that people can feel and have someone to talk to and not be afraid. Yes people are afriad of the ocean but that is okay cause I am afriad of myself I uknown to all and myself. I haven't found my true self yet cause Im scared of what I might find. I am the ocean and the Ocean is I.

I wrote this piece because were asked to dscribe ourselves and I didn't want to just say music because that is one thing but the ocean is everything. It can describe a person in a deeper meaning
