Tipping Point
Climate change is dangerous.
Effects could be disastrous
and it may be on the way.
There could be rise in sea levels,
gulf stream currents slowing,
more powerful storms,
and decreased rainfall in Africa.
It's a monstrous change,
we’re all wishing it's not true.
Sinking of denser water,
lighter, warmer water pulled to the surface.
The denser water is more difficult for light to get through,
marine life would need to adapt, but in danger.
They need their sight for hunting and spotting predators.
Global warming has infiltrated the gulf stream,
possibly there will be rise in sea levels in Australia,
and it’ll intensify storms.
Such a turning point, though difficult to predict.
There may be vast changes within the next years,
and that is not to take lightly.
Spread awareness on climate change.

This piece is about climate change, which I feel like the world doesn't care about enough. I searched for climate change articles and found out, then I took line from the article and made it into this poem. This poem is a Zeitgeist.
