The wind flows beyond the fields I used to hold so dear to me.

It tries to weave its way through paths I trekked so long ago.

But with time, it will be the only one to remember my name.


The author's comments:

I really wanted to capture the feeling of nature really being the only one left after death; after our brief time here on this earth.  Thus, I wrote about nature as a keeper of memories.
