Physics Class
The room was cold and stuffy but in a comforting way. It had a heavy but pleasing sense of emptiness. The cold lab tables were blanketed with twisting metal ramps laid on top of musty textbooks with past student's names scribbled on the cover. The room overflowed with the familiar sound of toy cars sliding around the ramps followed by the car skipping across the cold tile floor quickly vanishing in scattered backpacks slumped over the desks. As if the bell was a plug to a sink, as it rang the crashing sounds of cars drained away and the classroom has left a sense of emptiness waiting for the next class to fill the space.
