Gen Z is doomed. Social media has corrupted this generation. Social medias like Tiktok ticking the time off of our humanity. Spewing hate and controversy to keep us in the palm of their hands. Boomers grew up with TV, look what they have become. Ignorant. Will our generation be worse? Will our generation grow up as individuals and forget the point of coming together? Will social media be the final spear driven through humanity’s heart? The spear filled with individualism, hate, anger, ignorance. Our generation has their opinions, passions, hopes, controlled by social media. And yet, we somehow are supposed to save the world. Come up with new ideas to correct the mistakes of the past, while our minds consume whatever an algorithm shows us. Our generation needs to stop this cycle. Our generation needs to take back their lives. Our generation needs to regain control.
