Ode to Spring

February 11, 2021
By Anonymous

As peonies and lilacs inaugurate germination

The subdued sky is mainly periwinkle with strands of meager clouds

And the verdant grass is starting to cultivate.

The cutback of daytime is now vacant

With protracted days and blissful weather

And new vast levels of scholarly productivity

At the crack of dawn, the echo of peppy birds warble in the distance

Wearing diminutive and floral dresses and skirts that flow along with the chilling wind

Rainy days are iterating and mentally taxing

The inconsistent climate symbolizes the imperfections that come with the journey of life

The gross days make us look forward to our futures filled with brighter days to come
