Silence is loud. Don’t you hear it? Reverberating off of emptiness. Every thought, every consideration, every day dream caught in the swift sounds of silence. It’s stifling, dangerous. Listen too long and you’ll start to choke. Within the winds of silence is trauma. Everything that haunts, disturbs, and kills is wrapped in silence. Don’t you understand? The sound of the air conditioning fan blowing, the clicks and clacks of the house settling, every shallow breath you take are all mere diversions. To distract you from the horrors of silence. To distract you from the obnoxiously loud murderous tones of silence. The ones that strangle you and viciously tears your voice from your throat. The one that makes you cower in fear and hide in shame. You hide but it finds you, there’s no way to run from silence. Once it captures you, it envelops you and compels your ears to listen to the tortured echoes of silence in your head. You're still not understanding, are you? You are the silence. The silence is you. Whatever barbaric monstrosity you’ve kept buried beneath the depths of hell is in the silence. Impulsive thoughts, Nightmares, and night terrors blend together to create a symphony of your greatest fears. The harmony, beautiful yet ferocious. The melodious hymn of silence sings to you. Coercing you like a strong magnetic pull, forcing you to gravitate towards it. Silence is like a siren. Hidden beneath its beauty is evil. Silence held you, caressed you like no other. You fell for it. Its warm luscious paw embraced you, made you feel safe. You fell for it. You loved it and it supposedly loved you. You fell for it. Then it’s claws sunk in. Puncturing your insides. Crimson stains it’s once loving paws. Leaving its mark on you. Silence kidnaps you; bounding your hands and feet. Pushing you to delirium. Forcing you to listen to it's daunting familiar tune, forever.

I don't really know what category of writing this fits into so I just titled it as poetry though I don't consider it to be.
