i don’t know what living feels like
i am sad
i cry i pour
i don’t smile
i am angry
i yell i burn
the thing about
feeling
is when i love
i give wings
perhaps
that isn't
a good thing
they always
leave and
my heart is broken
i grieve

I used a quote from Rupi Kaur from her book, Milk and Honey. I did a blackout poem with it for my english class and ended up liking the outcome! This is her work completely, I do not take credit for her words only the way I edited it to be a blackout poem.
