Triumph
The constant need to triumph,
The desire that is all-encompassing and all that
we so immensely aspire
For some reason, it’s the one thing that we just can’t let go of
Or for that matter, voluntarily shake off of our own volition.
Its importance is one so significant that it’s placed at the very forefront of our mind,
And still, it stands there, ever so firm and unwavering,
It resolves fierce and inflexible
Exhibiting an indomitable tenacity
A resolution that no matter the risks will
not
halt
As it grasps opportunity after opportunity
And hastily proceeds without an ounce of caution
it makes it’s way up the long and winding road
For all need transverse upon this path
The one voyage, we cannot steer from
Nor for that matter have the luxury of experiencing again
So, know when the time comes to let it be,
May people with the same purpose blend
