Sleep Walking occurs
Descending off the bed
Thumping his chin
The 5 am wake of the boy
The family awakening
The screeching
From across the house
A quantity of pain
Of an open wound
The gruesome carpet
And tarnished shirt
On the verge of tears
And squealing
While seconds go by
The shedding tears
On his saturated face
And onto his jersey
Dialing 911
Into the car, we go
