Undercover Self Defense

All students who leave their parents guidance to go to school immediately become vulnerable to any danger. Whether it is to, at, or from school any student could be at risk. If it means that they have some sort of protection, beyond what guardians can control, they might feel confident that there is less of a risk when dealing with school everyday.

Underage people learn about the dangers of school shootings or worse and are taught the list of protection procedures that come with lockdowns and lock-ins, so this one thing may help with the psychological thought of danger. Outside the lines of mass destruction, hate crimes and bullying is another form of crime that people, especially under the age of 18 are susceptible to.

Confidently a large majority of people with students or the students themselves could agree that pepper spray and or mace could prevent and be a protective shield for all those who could one day be in danger.

Keeping pepper spray or mace at a reachable and hidden away place could put a guardians mind at ease to know their child is able to defend themselves in harms way. Mace and pepper spray are light and easy to hold on your person at all times. Not only are they the less violent, but they are just used to temporarily put the attacker at enough disability so the victim can escape and get help. Mace and Pepper spray are not as harmful as a gun and they can be used at a further distance, this makes it easier for a person to use when in shock.

Pepper spray or mace is a better alternative than any other self defense mechanism, such as a stun gun. The sprays are light and way less expensive. These sprays can be used from a further distance and is legal in all cities. Teachers believe that they should be armed with pepper spray as well because an accident with pepper spray is better and less harmful than an accident with a gun. Keeping Students armed with this form of safety can prevent not only outside attackers but inside attackers as well.
