Big,metal bowls hovered down from space

Women and child screamed and ran in place

Aliens and monsters came out with grace

Soldiers gathered around to defend their base

While millions of humans were being chased.

The Monsters roamed freely around the hills

Bringing terror,death,frights and thrills

Cold empty towns, farms and mills

But yet not a single soul sat still.

Artillery was fired and the bell rang

While the aliens hissed and showed their fangs

Their towers descended with a loud bang

In hope for divine intervention the church sang.

The heated sun became visible to all

As the aliens and monster began to fall

The hidden citizens crept out of town hall

as they questioned if God had heard their call

As thanks for their life they arranged a ball.
