A Not So Quiet Night
Lured outside by the misifying call of the moon, smothered in a cozy and snug sweater. The waft of coldness raised goosebumps along my exposed skin. My ragged shoes scuffed and whiffed against the hard cement. Distant dogs yipped and howled at the night sky while the twinkling of chimes resembled with the tiny luminous shapes that scattered the night sky. Small dibble dabble of raindrops softly dropping onto the dark shadowed leaves of the bush; each leaving a drizzling trail till they plop onto the insignificant puddle in front of the window. Aged wood creaks all around, luling everyone who calls this home.
