Oh Summer how much I love you 

You are so important 

You give me a break

You take away all my tests and quizzes

Summer you give me time to relax and play 

Oh how I'd you'd stay, longer

Please dont ever go away 

Fly a kite, go swimming there's lots to do with you 

Like going down water slides and playing till noon

Or even eating snowcones and ice cream with spoons 

Oh summer what can compare to the long summer nights you give me

nothing can compare to waking up at anytime 

to all the sunflowers we see in your sunlight

so come what may in the space between

all the things unseen and this reckoning 

for I know summer you will keep on coming with your shiny sun and your sunflowers
