An Ode to Mankind's Creation
Slim,
But tough.
Sharp at times,
But dull at others.
Double ended sword,
One side sharp or dull,
The other powerful,
Erases.
One side creates,
The other erases.
Many hate it though,
They despise it.
It brings misery,
Hardships.
Brings back memories,
Memories which are better unremembered.
It's essential though,
It makes everything possible.
It makes the imagination reality.
It is a tool of the gods.
But alas,
It is nothing but a mere tool.
A tool which can be replaced,
Replaced by PENS.
It’s longevity is laughable as well.
It becomes old and short,
Leaving nothing behind,
Being unable to leave anything behind as well.
The two blades dull,
Convert to nothing but dust,
It’s pitiful.
