Remember the old times
Remember when playing together meant playing barbies or playing cops and robbers
Now if you say that it sounds wrong or you get made fun of
Remember when you could hang out with that neighborhood boy and no one would think anything of it
Now everyone thinks you're dating if you’d hangout with that boy
Remember when those candy cigarettes would fill you with joy
Now they've turned into real cigarettes
Remember when juice boxes were the go to when hanging out with friends
Now it’s turned into see how many shots you can take until you body gives out on you
Remember when kids could walk home without a worry in sight
Now kids and parents can't stop but worry about being kidnaped when walking home
Remember when everyone was friends with everyone
Now it’s just secluded groups of friends that probably dislike each other
Remember when you'd look forward to going to school because you'd learn about cool and interesting things
But now no one wants to go to school anymore because they have the fear of ruining their future with one stupid test
Remember all of these fun times that you would have on the first day of school
Now the school is just filled with a bunch of worry some hate loving kids
