Dear Sleeping Ugly

Dear sleeping ugly,

Why are you so obsessed

I know this is your sad little nest

But please all I can ask is for you to get a life

You're as lonely as someone who lost a wife

I envy the times you are away

Each weekend I’m filled with dismay

When the garage door opens I cry

If I had hands I would kill you with a necktie

I pray to god

You won’t be here though, I like your dog

Sleep with one eye open tonight

I am no longer going to be polite

Sincerely, Your Bed

This was a poem I had to write as a non-reader to a writer. This would be from my bed to me since I spend all my time in my bed and it has developed a hate for me.
