When fingers are pressed against the keys

you never fail to place the letters down with laser like precision.

You are constantly at work, never catching a break.

Though you are always hard at work, you never seem to make any errors,

or decide to stop working, unless the computer tells you to. 

            You are loyal to the very end.

No matter how much of a good or bad thing it is,

You listen to every order to the letter.

Whenever you have to place the keys on a piece of paper.

You give me a sense of focus. 

When I use you, the world around me almost fades away into an abyss

until eventually only you and I remain,

which allows me to get immersed and be absorbed into whatever I am working on.

             You can let me express my thoughts clearer than a window,

Your help allows me to speak with more power than the electrical grid.

My fingers’ lightning like speed

can accompany you better than any person that I know.

With you, I can communicate quickly.

Being able to communicate this fast makes me feel relaxed and happy.

Being able to have you with me also makes me content.

Content knowing that I can easily make a paragraph faster than most people.

and writing entire pages in under an hour,

Content knowing that I rarely have any late work that has to do with you.

Content that you can allow me to communicate clearly.

This feeling of content and satisfaction makes me happier than it should.

And this happiness helped me through rough times in my life,
