Not so long ago
I wished for yesterday,
Drowned in it
Died slowly with it
All that for a past memory,
Today,
I pray for a tomorrow,
Let the the future forever grow
Watch me sink in the sunset
Fly to the moon and rest
Without worry or a doubt
Of a merciful present.

I was inspired by Yesterday from the Beatles, which is my favorite song ever, I relate to it in a way that I spent my life wishing for the past to be back and not accepting the future as it was, my life as been hard but it was a beautiful life, now I respect my past without drowning in it, and I wish for my future to be as bright as the sun.
