Take me to Neptune,

Where lazy clouds pass quiet moons,

Where purple streaks meet algae dunes,

Where murmured lakes hide gentle schools,

Where swaying fields grow dainty blooms.

Take me to Neptune,

Where jaded nights can rest their hearts,

Where whirling thoughts can spread apart,

Where unseen tears can heal their scars,

Where you and I won’t be so far.

But keep the spaceship jets all warm,

For though to peace we have both sworn,

I hear the children cry of war,

And I cannot bear to leave them.
