Healing
She looked and she sighed,
 ‘Cause the lies hurt her eyes
 And that’s when she realized
 That she hasn’t cried.

 She tries not to dwell on
 How stupid she’s been
 And prays that this
 Will never happen again.

 No, it wasn’t deep,
 It was fake, it was cheap.
 And she curses herself
 For taking that leap
 Over the lies
 That now hurt her eyes.

 Then she looked and she sighed;
 She remembers his eyes.
