Is death my only choice?
In this life with out a voice?
My smiling youth,
has failed to mention
adult hood is much like a miserable detention.
For I am much like you,
But I havent a clue
Why I move backwards
as everyone races forwards.
Am I broken beyond repair?
Or can I continue to breath this stale air?
