LIfe for me isn't a dead-end street
It's had entrances and exits
and full of starts and stops
and places not found on any map
thrilling
but all the time i've been traveling on
and reaching intersections
and turning right
and sometimes wishing I had turned left
where diverse experiences await
so listen, don't you turn back
don't you spin the wheel
cause you can steer in a better direction
don't you speed speed away
for you could pass me up
i'm still traveling
and life for me isn't a dead-end street
