A Little Who Got Badly Burnt
A heart that trusted a little too much
A body that froze at the slightest touch
Eyes that yearned for an understanding look
A smile that faded when in its own private nook
A mind heavy with the memories of youth
Nails bitten down to the very root
A mouth that opened as if in dispute
But quickly returned to being mute
For who would want to hear the words
Of a little girl who got badly burnt
