The Gift that Keeps on Giving
A sign of happiness is all I need
A token of friendship, love, and pride
Affirmation that my hard work succeeds
Sometimes they are just the diamonds waiting in the weeds
Its pop of color pushes all my worries aside
Orchids, irises, and carnations
Glowing in white when held by a bride
They wipe away all frustrations
They always encourage me to look on the bright side
If you have ever given them to someone, you have done a good deed
And if you have not, I wish you would have tried
It will wash away all of your greed
It will even make you feel freed
They come in all sizes, narrow and wide
Flowers are a splendid sensation adored by many all over the nation
