Sunshine
The rain gushed from the darkened sky.
The water was building up faster than the sun sets in the winter,
spilling into the delicate garden.
The water threatened
to permeate the garden and destroy what was once so precious.
Overcome the flowers plummet,
their faces pressed into the earth
body limp, wishing for a way out.
The rain stopped
everything was still.
A glimmer of hope soon prevailed.
Each ray casting out, elevating the flowers
the garden was restored.
Sunshine can help stop the worst storms.
