Cats were once treated as gods,

Now shown to be frauds,

I like their fluffy little paws,

and their mighty jaws

As I look out my window,

I see the village of Mindo,

On the street I see a cat,

 laying on a tattered mat

It looks up at me,

Like a silent plea,

"can you save thy"

as it starts to cry.

As I go down the stairs I imagine,

What in the world just happened,

Did that cat just talk?

In a haze I trip on my frock,

Down the stairs I fell,

And in pain I yell,

When I make it to the mat,

There is no cat,

My vision has gone blurry,

Why was I in a hurry,

Then my shoulders shrugs,

That's why you shouldn't do drugs.
