Brown isn't boring.
why don't people romanticize brown eyes? They're the color of honey and sage. When they water, they glow so magnificently that it makes you want to melt. The rich colors of the nature around you after it rains, contained in such a little thing, they're perfect in every way. Even in an empty stare, no matter how empty it may be, it always leaves you wanting more. You're left with 2 perfect orbs of sunlight, while you're in the midst of an eclipse. They're cocoa and gingerbread, they're the color of the blanket they wrap you in when you're cold. They're cinnamon and ginger, and they're the dust from a horse's hooves. The warmth they give you never fails to make you so happy you almost scream. As they gaze at you, you can't help but stare, because they're just. So. Beautiful. While you're sitting there, falling for those perfect circles of warmth, he closes them, Just as fast as you fell for them. You're left wanting more, waiting to take one last look at them. One last look at the things that made you fall so hard and so fast that you question everything that you thought was real. So why. Why don't they have a place in everyone's hearts, just as they do in mine?

This was inspired by a friend of mine who doesn't like their eyes, so I felt compelled to spread the love that I have for Brown eyes with the world.
