Will to Survive

Broken you left me drowning in pain,
Bleeding you left me no escape from this shame.
Tortured and torn I lost my will to survive,
Hallow and hurting i closed my eyes.
I closed my heart, spoke "never again,"
I opened my mind searched for a friend.
All that I found were men like you,
Who wanted no more than to destroy and use.
Escape from thier grasp took all of my strength,
But the choices I've made determine my fate.
