Depressed but in Love
I do not understand how someone could feel this much pain
She cannot stop listening to the evil voices in her brain
She wishes they would just go away
Because they make her not want to stay.
She is such a beautiful, sweet, brave girl who wants to be seen
But this will never happen because people are so mean.
She feels like she is unloved and unwanted
It is like she is consistently taunted.
The voices have taken over her brain
And she feels so drained.
But there is this boy
Who brings and gives her joy.
The boy is so in love with her
And she feels the same, she is so sure.
He always makes the girl feel better
And always writes her beautiful love letters
But the girl is happy for a moment, but then feels depressed
And believes that he deserves the best
She thinks that she is not
He disagrees with that thought
He reassures her that she is perfect
She disagrees and says she is a messy wreck.
Months go by and they are still so in love
And they are perfect together, that they both fit like a glove.
She has been the happiest ever
But the evil voices are so clever.
Her depression hits her a lot stronger
And she could not fight much longer.
Now the girl is sitting down, writing a serious note
She makes sure to add a few of her favorite quotes
She then expresses her love for the boy
And reminds him how she has felt so much joy
But she has to say her final goodbyes
And develop her angel wings and go fly high in the sky.

I feel like this is one of my best pieces. I am madly in love with my boyfriend yet still fighting the battle of depression.. I am not suicidal though, like in this poem... I just feel like this could relate to a few people though, who have been in love and their loved ones ended up committing suicide or have wanted to. None of you are alone. Stay strong and keep loving, fighting, and getting better... Because it will get better.
