My forgetful sister
My sister is very forgetful
Oh yes! She is!
Very often she would tell me,
She cannot find her classwork copies!
She pesters me every time
To find a thing that she cannot,
But even though she disturbs me often
I definitely love her a lot.
One day she came home crying
And told me she had lost “The Great rulers in history”
How and where she had lost it
Was indeed a big mystery.
I looked around her desk
but couldn't find a trace,
Then I looked below the desk
Only to see a spider that would have jumped on my face
I searched upstairs, I searched downstairs
I searched everywhere she had been.
And while I was searching
My sister sat watching me like a Queen.
But the book
Was nowhere to be found
And I kept searching
Till my mother came out hearing the sound.
She put her hand inside my sister’s school bag
And out came the book!
Alas! That was the only place
I had forgotten to look!
