Should parents choose what music we listen to?
Parents shouldn’t be able to choose what music we listen to because it shows who we are, how we express ourselves, are inspiration. Music is my escape from reality.
Parents shouldn’t choose what music we listen to because it is a part of who we are. It shows what kind of person we are.
Music is a powerful medium. It can help quieter kids reveal things they normally can't. It can express emotions turbulent adolescents may not be able to voice. It's also at the center of many social interactions and popular culture movements.
Some music helps people with stress or depression or anxiety. Music helps people through the bad and goods times. In fact, the average teen listens to over 2.5 hours of music every day.
Some parents are strict on what they let their kids do so some kids might be limited on what they can listen to.
Sure some music has bad language or inappropriate content but that doesn’t stop people from listening to that music.
So parents shouldn’t decide what we listen to. When were in different moods we listen to different music.
One reason why parents should choose what we listen to is that they know what music is good and what music is bad or music with bad content.
Another reason why parents should choose what we listen to is because some parents have restrictions or rules or limits on what they let their kids listen to or do but some parents really don’t care what their kids listen to.
And finally the reason why parents should choose what we listen to is that they might have similar music taste as you and they listen to some of the same music as you do. Or they like the same music you like.
