I went on a trip not long ago. It was to Outer Banks, North Carolina. The trip was merely a way for me and my entire family to get away from any problems we may have had and to let loose and have fun! To get to North Carolina in time to meet the rest of my family at the house we rented, we had to wake up at four in the morning! It was a long way down to North Carolina about 7 hours or so but I had my cousins, my brother and others to keep me company. On the way down we stopped at multiple places just to take a break from the longsome amount of driving that was going on. It was quite a journey because I did not get any rest due to the fact that my brother and cousins shoved me in the back seat next to all the luggage and they also wouldn't stop talking. Once we finally arrived we put our stuff down and headed right to the beach, I mean thats the whole reason we’re there isn't it? Once we were done doing various activities down at the beach such as banana boating, snorkeling and even kayaking. We headed back to the house and jumped right in the jacuzzi just to refresh ourselves and then had a nice night out in town. We went to a nice restaurant and after we even went for ice cream. While we were at the ice cream parlor, a family with kids around my age started to strike up a conversation with me and my cousins. We ended up finding out that they lived in the town right next to mine. For the rest of the vacation we always meet up with them at the beach or go grab some ice cream with them. We even went with them to buy a hermit crab! As fun as the vacation was it had to come to an end at some point, so we said our goodbyes to our friends that we met and to North Carolina and we packed up our things and went home. I will never forget that vacation because it was by far one of the best I ever went on. We might be going again this year, really looking forward to it!
