Best Buddies
Students gather for best buddies. In Mukwonago, Wisconsin on September 12th they help in room 45. Those in the meeting are helping those in need. Those being helped are students who have special needs, and needs someone to be there best friend.
Picture this, silp… CRASH, “ all my books fell again.” said a little girl “Hi, do you need help” said a little girl from behind it was a girl from her class they both went to class together. She looked down and then she looks up again. She sees out of the corner of her eye a poster, for best buddies. But she only takes a glance, because she and her friend, has to get to class. It was last period and she made it just on time. On the announcements the office lady said… “don't forget there is a Best Buddies sign up sheet outside room 45” she said enthusiastically. So after class, she and her friend raced down to room 45. “Come sign up. Last chance.” the lady running Best Buddies. They started to turn people away because they were getting full. But they stayed but when they got up they lady said, “I know you you want to do this so I saved you a spot, just for you two.” they were so excited. They got to help. They both got someone they did not know and by the end of the school year, they were best friends. The impact on the story is how people can become friends be helping. So next time you see someone tell them to help their school. Everyone needs a little help.
