Throw your hate my way,
I shake it off and stay,
Come whatever weather may,
No sun, only clouds, not a single ray,
Your words dark every day,
Splatter on a world already grey,
You try your best to make me cry,
Tell me you hope I drop and die,
Slice my heart at every strand,
But still I stay, I still withstand,
Every single offense you send,
Because at my side, resides my friend,
The crutch that lets me stand,
The shield that I defend.
